Goodzer is a start-up that has created the most comprehensive local product search available. The company continues to grow and expand it's search capabilities and expects exponential growth of services over the next year.

What is the Goodzer API?

Goodzer's API gives developers access to the inventory Goodzer parses, stores, and continually updates of more than half a million local stores across the U.S. This data immediately provides a rich, valuable search that attracts users.

Is the API free to use?

Yes, the API is free to use.

Where can I see the API in action?

On our product search website and through our iPhone app.

How can I add my store to the API?

In order to be added to our API, your store must have a walk-in location(s) in the U.S. and a website with an inventory of products. We already have most stores in our database, but if we somehow missed yours, please let us know by submitting this form. Our crawler will automatically extract the data from your website.

Data questions

What geography does the API cover?

The API covers the entire United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. U.S. unincorporated territories are currently excluded.

How big is the data set?

The data set consists of more than 2,500,000,000 inventory items from 500,000 local stores.

Where does the data come from?

Most of the data comes from our web crawler. We also receive data feeds from a limited number of retailers.

How often the data is updated?

Most of the data is updated every 3-5 days.

The API is based on RESTful architecture. The data is returned in JSON format.
